This walk allows you to discover the famous massive Mgoun. a 7 day trekking hike
over volcanic rocks and climb to the top of this famous summit.
Divided by rivers and canyons, the landscape offers interesting trail challenges with a backcountry
of M'Goun, followed by long slow descents and sudden ascents, and one day trading a
narrow canyon filled with water.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech - ait bouguemez - azib Ikkis
DAYS of transfer to the central High Atlas through the city of Azilal. a mountainous road to pass-
Do Oughbar splendid view of the M'Goun chain in front of us and to our right the Rat
3700m, 3600m Igoudamene, Tizal 3100m 3700m Azourki to join the ait bouguemez point
starting for our walks, Meeting with the mule team for a short walk
Agouti in 3 hours passing through the village of Ait Said, pretty sheep up to Ikkis (2200 m). Bivouac.

Day 2: Azib Ikkis - Tizi Oumskik - Tarkeddid Plateau
We start our day with an easy climb to the Timramatiyn Source Oumskiq circus. We make
ravitaillons of water because there will be no water for 4h. Mules do not take the same path. The
Climbing becomes more and more athletic but not technically difficult due to the famous Col
Tarkkadid, a remarkable view of the two wild mountainous landscapes north / south of M’Goun,
people or sheep, apart from a few flocks; A short easy descent to the plate. bivouac nearby
from the source of the Tessout 2990m.

Day 3: Tarkeddid– Ascension M’Goun 4071 m-Oulilimt
Up at 4, to start climbing the summit 3 of Morocco. Without lowering the tents this time
because our carriers will have enough time to deal, Ascension is optional
(Those who do not travel to the top can stay in bed until the departure of muleteers and
follow the mule track through the 3100m pass), the climb is not technically difficult, the habit
walking and resistance enough altitude, a beautiful view of the central massif of the High Atlas,
Jbel Saghro and the Valley of the Roses. After an exceptional race, we reached the lowest point
high with 4,071 m. Then we descend a screen towards the sources of Wadi M’goun. Bivouac
Oulilimt (2600 m) Approx. 9 to 11 hours walking.
Day 4: Oulilimt - Oulilimt Gorges - Tighremt Nait Ahmed 2250 m
Throughout the day, we will follow the comfortable mule route where you will discover some incredible
cliff dwellings and meet nomadic Berber herders with their herds of
summer in this region, which allows an easy walk without difficulty and offers landscapes:
including stacks of different colors ranging from tan to red or brown. Lunch at the
throat to swim and rest after yesterday's exertion. bivouac

Day 5: Tighremt Nait Ahmed - Ouzighimt Valley - Imin Irkt Camp
1920 mAfter the first day of physical effort and the lack of positive water, it is now comfort: one day reward for the descent of the Ouzighimt valley, beautiful popular valley, we walk towards the
river crossing a chain of Berber villages of El Morabitine, Ighrem Izderne, Wawchki ...
Meet the inhabitants of the valley, women with their unique hairstyles and costumes in the High Atlas Central, night in the camp. Possibility of hot shower at night.

Day 6: Imin Irkt - (Achabou) - Aguerzaga 1790m
Starting at 8 a.m., provide sandals for wading, sometimes cold with a strong current,
alternating passages, our mules follow the same destination, through the gorges more
beautiful and spectacular of the Central High Atlas. The gorges are narrow (2m high cliffs
width and 600m high). Lunch at the exit of the gorge, we always walk in the water
to the night camp in front of the town on the banks of the Aguerzaga river.

Day 7: Aguerzaka – Marrakech
Boutghrar Hdida - Kelaa de Mgouna - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Col
Tichka - Marrakech
Departure in the morning at 8am, leisurely breakfast, transfer by road to Marrakech Dades,
lunch just after the highest road pass in Morocco (2260 Tichka vista
